Honeycomb inclined tube packing is a kind of settling tank packing designed and developed on the basis of "shallow sedimentation" theory. Its shape is a hexagonal tube with an Angle of 60 degrees, so it is often called a hexagonal honeycomb inclined tube. This filler is mainly used in the sedimentation tank to remove suspended matter and sediment in the water, so it is also directly called honeycomb inclined tube filler.
In terms of material, honeycomb inclined tube packing is usually made of polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and glass fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) materials, which have good chemical stability and corrosion resistance, and can adapt to various water quality environments.
The main characteristics of honeycomb inclined tube packing include large wet circumference, small hydraulic radius, good laminar flow state, and particle precipitation is not disturbed by turbulence. This enables it to effectively improve the precipitation efficiency and reduce the turbidity of the effluent in the water treatment process.
